Harvesting Urchins

Divers search for urchins usually working at depths of 15 to 70 feet underwater, they wear heavy wet suits and are sustained with air pumped through hoses from air compressors on their dive boats. Tricky currents, thick coils of seaweed and shifting visibility make diving risky at times but seasoned urchin harvesters say it's all part of the job.
